Yes, our countdowns are mobile-friendly. In fact we even generate a higher-resolution version of every countdown to take advantage of Retina displays on many of todays mobile devices.
Our countdowns are delivered over SSL by default and won't cause any problems on secure pages. Because our countdowns are provided as an iframe the browser's same-origin policy isolates our code from your code. It's really secure.
We give you a really simple HTML snippet called an iframe to paste into your site. It's the same as embedding a YouTube video. If you have a way to edit your site content then you can probably add our countdowns to your pages. Below is a list of just a few of the systems that can embed our countdowns.
We generate as much of the countdown clock as possible on our servers so the viewer's browser doesn't have to do much. This means our countdowns work well even in old browsers and on lower-end smartphones with little processing power. And of course our countdowns work great on modern computers, tablets and smartphones too.
You can change your countdowns as many times as you like. You can also delete them and create new ones as long as you only are within the number of countdowns allowed by your plan.
Our email countdowns display correctly in all email clients. The only limitations are that in the Microsoft Outlook desktop client and on Windows Phone 7 our countdowns may appear paused by default.
You can cancel at any time by following these steps.
Please ensure you're logged in when creating your countdown. You should see your email address in the top-right of the site. After you purchase an account you should no longer see our branding on any of your countdowns. Occasionally though, if you created a countdown before you registered our system is unable to determine that you created that countdown so the branding does not get removed when you purchase an account. If this is the case simply create a new countdown. The old countdown will not count towards your account limits.
Facebook is very restrictive on what types of content you may add. The simplest solution is to create your countdown then either embed it in your own website or click "Share" to embed it in a page on our website. Once you've published your countdown on another site you can link to it from Facebook. Some people have been successful using Facebook's live video streaming features along with screen capture software to display their countdown on Facebook. This is an advanced technique.
