Gears of War: E-Day is an upcoming third-person shooter and prequel to the original Gears of War, set during Emergence Day as the Locust Horde first invades Sera. It is scheduled for release on October 6, 2026, for Windows and Xbox Series X|S, and will be available day one on Game Pass. Premium and Collector's Editions offer 5 days of early access starting October 1, 2026.
